We understand that buying or selling your home can be a stressful time for you and your family. We won’t add to the stress by being slow or unhelpful. In fact we’ll do all we can to speed the transaction along. The most likely culprits for slowing your transaction down are:
- Another buyer or seller in a ‘chain’ not being able to proceed or dropping out.
- Your mortgage provider not providing your mortgage offer in time
- Your Insurer not arranging your medical examination (if needed for your mortgage)
- Your local authority searches not being available soon enough – some local authorities are slower than others
Whilst we can't guarantee that the above ‘usual suspects’ will not conspire against us to delay things, we can guarantee that we won’t add to them.
We'll keep you advised of progress and explain clearly and simply the reasons for any delays, although of course we'll try to keep those to a minimum. Our staff are expert in dealing with all types of residential property including houses and flats, and similar matters such as remortgaging or equity transfer.
We will tell you at the outset what your costs are going to be and you can be assured that we will not increase them without your agreement.
